Hello! I will have lots to update you on this weekend but for now it's just a quick blog. This week has flown by, literally. Tomorrow I have one class and then we're all going out tomorrow night. Friday I will be going to the west side of London to see Saint Paul's Cathedral and the London Tower. Saturday I will be going to Stratford-Upon-Avon and Sunday I think we are going to go to Camden again. The weather is still frigid, but luckily we don't have to walk outside to get to class!
Even though I said Biology was boring at first, I watched this really neat movie today and wanted to tell you all about it! This scientist/archeologist from England did a huge project researching where humans originated. It's been found that the oldest remains of humans was found in Africa. So basically...there were around 100 people that settled there, procreated and moved in four different directions to start spreading the population (when there were changing in the climate- at some point the Sahara desert was smaller, and a the Red Sea became narrower; at this point the people could cross over). Geneticists have traced our ancestors all the way back and discovered that we all originate from Africa and then branch off into Europe and Asia. I just found that really interesting because I had never heard that before. It's common to hear that we are all somehow related, but not necessarily from Africa. So yeah, fun fact for the day :)
I'll update you more after this weekend!
